Smokin' on the Columbia will be in Astoria, Oregon on May 15-16, 2010
Chicken, Ribs, Tri-Tip, Salmon and more... The Pacific Northwest BBQ Association's 2nd annual Smokin' on the Columbia is a state-wide chili cookoff and barbecue with proceeds benefitting the United Way of Clatsop County. Teams competing for top prizes will walk away with $1,000 in prize money for the best chili and barbecue. People's Choice Serving: Saturday at 12 (noon). Food will be available to the public between 11a and 3p. Award winning teams will compete for prize money and sell food to the public between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. All ages welcome. Proceeds benefit the Clatsop Community Action Regional Food Bank. Cost: $3.00, kids under 12 are free.
