Cannon Beach will be ready if a Tsunami hits
A major earthquake is forecast to hit the Oregon coast. If that earthquake triggers a tsunami, as experts predict it will, at least one town on the Oregon coast plans to be ready to protect the residents and visitors with a sturdy tsunami shelter.

Cannon Beach, a small but very popular tourist town on the North Oregon coast is planning for the tsunami. The residents of this town will be building the first tsunami shelter in the United States.
