June 13th 2010 at Regatta Park Hosted by Lincoln City Parks and Recreation. Held in conjunction with Devils Lake Open Water Swims.

Regatta Park @ Devils Lake, a clear coastal lake located in the heart of Lincoln City. Lake elevation is 6 feet above mean sea level. Water temperature is expected to be 67-71 degrees Fahrenheit and will be posted on race day.

STAND UP PADDLE RACE:

A 1500 meter diamond shaped paddle board sprint race will follow the swim races. This race is not sanctioned by Oregon Masters Swimming and is open to anyone. DON'T FORGET YOUR PFD'S! Oregon State Law requires paddlers to have a Personal Flotation Device on-board there vessel at all times.

RACE ENTRY FEES:

Stand Up Paddle race is $15.00, or free to those who swim or volunteer to help with the safety spotting for the swim races. Entries should be postmarked by June 2nd. Entries after this date are considered to be day-of-race entries and must pay an additional $10 premium. Submit your entries on time-It really helps our planning for a great event!

ENTERTAINMENT:

The Oregon Surf Shop will have it's entire demo fleet of stand up paddle boards and paddles down at Regatta Park and Stand Up Paddle Oregon will have multiple instructors on hand to assist first time paddlers on the basics of paddling safely. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO LEARN HOW TO STAND UP PADDLE THIS SUMMER!

DIRECTIONS & PARKING:

Turn East off of U.S. Highway 101 on to NE 14th St. 14th St. becomes NE West Devils Lake Road. Next, turn right on NE Regatta Way.

DOGS:

All dogs must be on leashes at Regatta Park and Devils lake State Park. Please clean up after your dog!
