Organizers were concerned because of the down economy, said Del Stephens, the tournament director. Instead, the 1,400 people involved in the summer series — anglers and volunteers — and the 81 sponsors were both Classic records... This year’s competition drew teams from as far away as Montana, Idaho, California and Washington. ...the dates already have been selected for the 2010 series.
