The 2013 Rockaway Beach Kite Festival is just a few short months away. Mark your calendars for the weekend of May 17-19, 2013. The event is sponsored by the American Kitefliers Association, but kite fliers of all levels, pro and amateur are invited. Bring your kites and your crew and maybe you'll win the award for longest drag on the beach before becoming air-born!
