Seaside on Tap With - Beach Bite & Brew

The Seaside Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Oregon Brewers Guild will present "Beach Bite & Brew," a craft beer tasting event at the Seaside Elks Lodge, 325 Avenue A in Seaside on March 6, 2010.

The tasting will feature two parts. The first is a VIP event limited to 50 people from noon to 4 p.m. and featuring four Seaside Chefs who will compete in a "People's Choice Cooking with Beer Contest."

General admission will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for tasting and the opportunity to purchase a variety of local food specialties. Entertainment will be presented at both sessions.

Expected to become an annual event, the showcase will feature dishes paired with Oregon craft beer.

March 5 a number of the local restaurants will offer a pre-event dinner special and partner with an Oregon craft brewer to provide a suggested beverage choice.

Admission to the VIP Taste is $35.00 and includes both sessions. The cost is $20 for the evening taste. Both admissions include a souvenir glass.
