 Dozens of large Humboldt squid were washing up this week on the northern Oregon beaches - and almost immediately freezing as they hit the frigid air.Staffers from the Seaside Aquarium noted that it was like the inundation of Humboldt squid last year, except that incident spread all the way to the Puget Sound. This time, reports of squid stretch from Warrenton to Pacific City. The employees found 16 of the enormous squid Wednesday, but have gotten reports of another two dozen between Seaside and Gearhart.
