If you want to see the best 2009 Christmas lights in Seaside...Winners of the Pacific Power Warm Lights Competition produced by the Seaside Chamber of Commerce are making the nights shine with creative displays for the holiday season. Winners in the residential category are Stubby Lyons, 335 Alpine St., First Place; Shane Dean, 1800 Huckleberry Dr., Second Place and Mark Agalzoff, 1992 Huckleberry Dr., Third Place. The winning Neighborhood is the 700 block of Lincoln St. South of Broadway. Neighborhood honorable mentions were given for the first blocks on Pine St. and Oregon St. North of 24th St. In the Business Category the Ebb Tide Motel received First Place. The judges also noted that the Seaside Aquarium had an excellent presentation. Special honorable mention went to the Shilo Inn “For The Roof Top Tree Lights That Have Become A Tradition Of The Seaside Holiday Skyline.” A self-drive tour map of many of the residential and business displays is available at the Chamber offices.
